Eck! How To Fix A Wet Book

It happens to the best of us. Maybe your walking home from school and your precious book falls into a puddle. Maybe you're eating while reading (A BIG no, no!) or any other situation but here are my quick fixes to a wet book:

1. The Slightly Damp

First- Shake of your book Second- DON'T PANIC! (Even though I would:) Second- Blot the wet pages with a towel but NOT a paper towel Third- Put paper in between pages where one is wet and the other isn't Fourth- If you're very adventurous you can iron the wet pages BUT DON'T RIP THE PAGE!

2. The dreaded I LEFT MY BOOK OUT ALL NIGHT IN A HURRICANE!

First- Flip the pages every once in a while until it's mostly dry (I hope you have time and like the book!) Second- PANIC! This time just let it all out, your book is SOAKED! Third- Calm down and get ready for the next step Fourth- Take a cotton, fiber (insert strong cloth materials here) towel and put it on a wet page and then iron the page. IMPORTANT- IRON THE TOWEL ON THE PAGE OR ELSE, YOU WILL RIP YOUR PAGE

R.I.P your page!

After that, your book should be okay!
