Review: Simon Vs. The Homo sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli

About

Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now change-averse Simon has to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before he's pushed out—without alienating his friends, compromising himself, or fumbling a shot at happiness with the most confusing, adorable guy he's never met.Incredibly funny and poignant, this twenty-first-century coming-of-age, coming out story—wrapped in a geek romance—is a knockout of a debut novel by Becky Albertalli.

Review

Here's a way to explain this STUNNING book with just one word:

O h my gosh and pick this book up right now! R EAD IT! E lla says to read it

O kay now lets actually start the review:

This book had fluff, heart and it was like magic! This book IS magic! I'm at a loss for words and I don't even know where to start! First off let me just say that I loved all the characters! They were real people! For all, I know they could be walking around the hallways at my school right now!:) They had motives and I liked them all except one of them...

Look you blackmailed someone. NOT OKAY! I also really liked Blue and felt like they had a really strong bond that I LOVED! I ship it!

Anway,

The best part was definitely that people had flaws and not everyone was just evil or just nice. Taylor wasn't just the mean girl. Even if she didn't like Simon she still stood up for him in times of need. Leah wasn't just the moody friend, she felt like she was underappreciated and had a reason to be moody. I just felt like everyone was real and I really liked that.

I know this review is everywhere but writing positive reviews is hard people, really hard :)
